  14. <p>     CONVICTED. Julio Gonzalez, 37, the Cuban refugee who last year
  15. committed one of the the worst mass murders in U.S. history by
  16. setting a fire that killed 87 people at the Happy Land social club
  17. in the Bronx; in New York City. Gonzalez, who confessed to the
  18. killings but pleaded insanity, was convicted of 174 counts of
  19. murder, two for each victim. He faces a maximum of 25 years to
  20. life in prison.
